On one lucky rainy Manhattan day I ducked into DSW (to avoid become a walking puddle) and found these phenomenal YSL-inspired booties waiting for me. They were 50% off, and the last pair on the rack - and they were my size. It was a definite sign that somebody wanted me to have them. They are honestly the most AMAZING shoes known to mankind - and surprisingly comfortable. Although - a word of warning girls - HEADS TURN.

But the fairly wet summer that New Yorkers have been experiencing only has me longing for an extreme heat wave - the kind of day where the air feels stuffy, your skin feels sticky and the scorching sun is beating down on you.     Those cage heels look awesome on you! You've got the legs for it - a lot of girls I know tried them on, but it made their legs look really short and chunky. Great editorials as well... it's definitely really warm over here today. Lovely blog by the way :)
